District Committee

The Savannah First Masonic District is supported by a network of dedicated committees made up of members who generously volunteer their time and talents. Working collaboratively, these committees help uphold our mission, support our members, and strengthen our presence in the community. Each committee plays a vital role in planning, communication, education, and the successful execution of district-wide initiatives, ensuring excellence in all we do.

Education

The District Education Committee plans and executes Education and instruction to the brothers and sisters of the Savannah First Masonic District. This committee organizes quarterly workshops focused on the proper execution and understanding of Masonic and Order of the Eastern Star (O.E.S.) ritualistic practices, ensuring members remain knowledgeable and proficient.

Events

The District Events Committee plans and executes all events related to gatherings of the district. This committee coordinates local district fellowships, including District Meetings, church visitations, community service initiatives, and social events. Its purpose is to foster unity, engagement, and meaningful interaction among members through well-organized and impactful events.

Media/Information

The District Media/Information Committee disseminates information through the district through our various forms of social media and publications. This committee is responsible for the District Newsletter, Social Media Accounts, Website, and all Public Relations Matters pertaining to the First Masonic District.

Fundraiser

The District Fundraiser Committee is established to strategically plan and implement fundraising initiatives across the entire District. The funds raised through these efforts will support various District events and activities throughout the year, as well as provide resources for community outreach and giveaway opportunities sponsored by the District.

Youth Activity (KOP/OES Youth)

The District Youth Activity Committee is committed to supporting the development and success of the Knights of Pythagoras and other youth groups within the Savannah First Masonic District. This committee collaborates closely with the leadership of each group to provide guidance, resources, and assistance, helping to meet their needs while fostering growth, engagement, and achievement among our youth.
