Masonic & Fraternal History
Brother Everett E. Tolbert has been a dedicated and active member of Eureka Lodge No. 1 since November 15, 2001. He embraced leadership early in his Masonic journey, serving as Senior Warden and later as Worshipful Master from 2003 to 2004. Even after his term, he continued to support his Lodge as Past Master and Secretary, offering steady guidance and committed service.
His influence soon extended to the District level. From 2005 to 2019, he served as Assistant District Deputy Grand Master. In 2019, he was appointed District Deputy Grand Master of the Savannah First Masonic District, a role he held with distinction until 2024. During his tenure, the District Committee structure was established and implemented. This initiative strengthened organization, accountability, and teamwork across the District, ensuring that programs and responsibilities were carried out effectively. By encouraging members to serve on committees, it fostered greater collaboration, engagement, and unity throughout the District.
In 2024, Brother Tolbert was honored with the title of District Deputy Grand Master Emeritus, recognizing his many years of service, leadership, and commitment to the Craft.

Community & Church Involvement
Brother Tolbert is a committed community servant. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and the Sons of the Legion Post 143. He volunteers his time in various capacities, reflecting his deep belief in civic responsibility and fellowship. His service extends beyond fraternal walls into faith-based and community initiatives that uplift and support others.
Personal Background
Originally born in Kansas City, Missouri, Brother Tolbert was raised in Pensacola, Florida. He is a graduate of Pensacola High School and earned an Associate of Arts degree from Jefferson Davis College. He went on to obtain a Bachelor’s degree from Albany State University and a Master’s degree from South University.
A Licensed Professional Counselor by profession, Brother Tolbert works as a Government Contractor (MFLC) and is the owner of E. Tolbert Counseling and Consulting, LLC. He is a proud father to Alyssa, Kelsie, and Tristan. His deep-rooted motivation for service continues to inspire his contributions within the Fraternity and the greater community.
